  • Hit and run with injury: Class 2 felony, which includes potential penalties such as incarceration up to seven years in a state penitentiary and fines up to $25,000
  • Hit and run with fatality: Class 1 felony, which carries potentially sentencing of incarceration in a state penitentiary up to 15 years and fines up to $25,000
