Felony Charges

Felonies are the most serious offenses that can be charged by the state, and the potential consequences are far more severe than those for misdemeanor convictions. No matter what type of felony charges you are facing, conviction could lead to such penalties as:

  • Jail or prison time
  • Large fines
  • Probation
  • Possible victim restitution
  • Possible loss or restriction of license
  • Possible loss of your right to vote or bear arms
  • Possible mandatory sex offender registration

  • Imprisonment in a state penitentiary for 4 to 15 years

Class 2

  • Includes such crimes as arson, possession of certain types of drugs, theft, and certain white collar crimes

  • Imprisonment in state penitentiary for 3 to 7 years

Class 3
