Possible Penalties for Des Plaines DUI Cases

    Illinois DUI ( Drunk Driving ), at its least severe, is a class A misdemeanor punishable by up to $2500 in fines, and up to 364 days in jail.  In some cases, felony criminal charges may apply!  A DUI conviction will automatically revoke your Illinois drivers license.  Revocation means permanent loss of privileges until the Secretary of State of Illinois decides otherwise.  In most cases, a DUI arrest results in a summary drivers license suspension for a minimum of three months.
